Ms. Valero is a Senior Paralegal with Emerzian Law Group, where she leads and mentors the paralegal team while providing comprehensive support to the firm’s public agency, education sector, non-profit, and private business clients. Her work spans in a variety of practice areas, including employment, business, education, non-profit, landlord-tenant, workplace investigation and corporate compliance.   

In her supervisory role, Ms. Valero oversees workflow management, ensures quality control of legal documents, and provides training and guidance to paralegals and support staff. She collaborates closely with attorneys to develop efficient processes, maintain compliance standards, and deliver exceptional client service. 

Ms. Valero also plays a key role in the City of Fresno’s Eviction Protection Program, assisting with direct legal representation for tenants facing unlawful eviction and coordinating team efforts to ensure timely and effective service delivery. Her commitment to community-focused legal services reflects her dedication to ensuring access to justice for vulnerable populations.   

For the firm’s public agency and education sector clients, Ms. Valero regularly assists with matters involving state and federal employment law, workplace investigations, and compliance issues. Her expertise includes preparing legal documents and supporting clients through complex regulatory challenges.    

For public agency and education clients, Ms. Valero regularly assists with matters involving high-risk terminations, employee relations, and compliance audits, while guiding her team through complex regulatory challenges. She also supports non-profit organizations and private businesses with operational compliance, contract administration, and governance issues. 

Ms. Valero also serves as a Human Resources Consultant, assisting clients on compliance with state and federal employment laws and employee onboarding and terminations. She is passionate about helping California employers understand their obligations and implement proactive solutions to reduce liability and foster positive workplace environments. 

Prior to joining Emerzian Law Group, Ms. Valero held a leadership role in healthcare operations where she designed and implemented processes for a multi-site Practice Administrator Program, coordinated professional development initiatives, and ensured continuous quality improvement across hospitals in California. She managed recruitment and onboarding of practice administrators, provided coaching and mentorship, and collaborated with medical directors and operations leadership on performance evaluations and improvement plans. This experience strengthened her ability to manage complex operations, lead teams, and deliver strategic solutions, skills she now applies to her work. 

Outside of her professional role, Ms. Valero spending time with her family and supporting her daughter’s sporting activities. Ms. Valero is passionate about lifelong learning, often seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge in law and human resources.
