Ms. Gunderson is an experienced attorney with Emerzian Law group providing labor, employment, and business law services to the firm’s public agencies, education sector, non-profit, and private business clients, including advising on and directly conducting workplace and school investigations.  Ms. Gunderson also serves as an attorney for the City of Fresno’s Eviction Protection Program, supporting tenants being unlawfully evicted within the City of Fresno.   

Relying on her extensive litigation background, Ms. Gunderson brings a seasoned eye towards labor and employment risk management, advising employers on day-to-day compliance in both union and non-union environments.  She advises and represents employers in administrative proceedings and routinely provides legal analysis and assistance with handbooks and other policy documents, assists employers with high-risk terminations, disability accommodations, and workplace complaints of workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and sexual misconduct. She often supports clients with compliance concerns related to the Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, California Family Rights Act, Federal Family & Medical Leave Act, Title IX, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as well as other state, federal, and local laws.
