Ms. Cummings is an associate attorney with Emerzian Law Group providing service to the firm’s public agency, education sector, non-profit, and private business clients in the areas of: Labor & Employment Law, Education Law, Title IX, Business Law, and Investigations.  Ms. Cummings also serves as an attorney for the City of Fresno’s Eviction Protection Program, providing direct legal representation to tenants being unlawfully evicted within the City of Fresno.  

Ms. Cummings regularly advises the firm’s clients on state and federal employment law, including wage and hour law; complaints of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; and union matters including PERB unfair practice charges. Ms. Cummings serves as an investigator for school and workplace complaints and is trained in trauma-informed interview practices. Ms. Cummings also supports clients in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts of various types. 

Ms. Cummings is passionate about supporting educational institutions and businesses as they advance their missions and make positive impacts in their communities.  

Prior to joining Emerzian Law Group, Ms. Cummings served as a legal intern with the EEOC, UCLA Law’s Center on Reproductive Health Law and Policy, and the LACBA Domestic Violence Project.  

Ms. Cummings was born and raised in the Central Valley and is based in Visalia, CA. She enjoys crocheting, baking, and spending time with her cat, Teddy.
